About Me

Hi ,I am Katie Stone the 3rd grade teacher at Newman Grove Elementary. I have been teaching 3rd grade since 2012. Third grade truly has my heart and is where my passion lies. I am a mom of four and live on a farm south of Newman Grove, but I am originally from Platte Center and graduated from Lakeview High School north of Columbus. After high school, I attended Northeast Community College and Wayne State College where I received my bachelors in education and my masters in curriculum and instruction.
