for a panel discussion
Miki, Jason, and Martin identified a commonality in vision for an economy based on love, trust and care following their individual keynotes speeches at the Global Ecovillage Network (GEN) Europe gathering in July 2026. From there, the idea emerged to have a public, generative conversation exploring the nuances of each one's vision, unique experience, context, and purpose.
What needs do we want to put at the center of the economy? What is the economy for each of us? Does the economy distort our needs and how?
What do we each envision as an economic future for humanity at scale if we successfully navigate the polycrisis?
What are we each mourning most about the gap between where we are and where we long to be?
What specific actions do we want individuals, communities, organizations, and movements to take in the direction of our vision?
Where do we align and differ in terms of:
a. the gift economy and how we might get there
b. developing commoning
c. whether there is a future for money
