Who are we? 

Vérène Nicolas - Course content and delivery: is a Certified trainer in Nonviolent Communication and a member of NGL since its birth in 2017. She is based in Glasgow, Scotland. When she’s not working on NGL projects, her passion is to work with individuals who take leadership to bring about change in their communities, and search for ways to work together that nurture trust and genuine collaboration. Verene also loves running "live experiments" in truth, love and courage with family members and close friends, i.e. how to be true to the values of nonviolence in intimate relationships. She gets deep nourishment from her connection with nature, spending time with friends, cat and partner, and dancing wildly at Biodanza and 5 Rhythms events.

Menaka Neotia - P&P Tracking: Menaka is deeply engaged in exploring the integration of a power and privilege lens within the NVC for Liberation Framework.  As a key person in the development of the P&P tracking function, Menaka supports grounding our movement towards vision in the reality of the present. She currently lives in India where she is valiantly working on untwisting the field in her personal environment. Menaka is an Associate of NGL and an Apprentice. 

Shar Molloy - Course content and delivery team holding: Shar first engaged with NVC in 2010 and has been an environmental activist in Australia for over 20 years. She is passionate about experimenting with NVC for Liberation and applying the learnings in her on ground campaigns and projects. Shar is an Associate of NGL and an Apprentice. She mostly lives in Tasmania, Australia and also spends time in Darwin.

Rose (Rosey) Hakim - P&P Shadowing: She is shadowing Menaka tracking P&P. Rosey currently lives in Lucknow, India, grew up in Southern California, and is ethnically Egyptian. She loves bridging across differences and increasing accessibility. Rosey joined NGL as a friend in 2021. 

Neesha Noronha- Course delivery team: Neesha first joined the NVC for liberation 'with a system's lens' course in May 2022 after a decade of dancing at the edges of NVC. Loving it, she continued to engage, joining the holding team in Feb 23 as a way to weave this approach into her being and work of re-membering the body and earth in all spaces, especially institutionalised ones. She currently lives in Mysore, India. 

Other NGL apprentices may also present small pieces of content during the workshop.

The Workshop Delivery Team will be supported by yanae, Eddy, Fox and Marta and a number of others for tech, chat and liberation/empathy support during the Series.
