Creating the optimal conditions for the pod to be able to do “ceiling work” and for Miki to be able to engage her life’s work from within connection to her organic flow, while also supporting resources to flow in such a way that will support Yaren to integrate her purpose-based passions within the process of becomes a mother.

We are setting up structures that aim at subverting normative resource flow patterns in support of these two areas of the systemic map which resources are usually drawn away from.
Just as Mycelium supports nutrients to travel across its web, you are invited to potentially become a nutrient that can flow in support of this project.
We are creating pools of resources that can be activated as needed in service to the various needs of this project.
The areas of need we have identified so far for both the Pod and Yaren/Baby are:
External support
Material needs support
Relational capacity/Emotional support
Holder support for Yaren (no need/we have enough people for this)
Each of these has specific criteria and we have created a capacity assessment flow chart to support you in assessing where it makes most sense for you to gift your energy.
You will notice that we are not inviting you to individually choose where you want to go and thinking “it will work out fine”. The way we are experimenting with; of choosing together where it makes sense for you to go in relation to capacity and need, is a move in the direction of the vision of “resources flowing from where they exist to where there is need, with the least unwanted impacts, within willingness and capacity”.
If you wish to step into the resource pool, please take yourself through the capacity assessment, to see if you are a fit and if so, how. Once this is done, we’ll get back to you with suggestions to invite you to a conversation. Please note that this may take some time as we are still working all of this out and are limited in our capacity.
For anyone who is a fit in terms of offering material on-site support, there are resources available to support transportation, if needed. Do not let this be a barrier to you filling in the form.
A NOTE ON SUPPORTER PODS
We are very aware that within a constellation of people that is oriented to working together, and that complements one another's strengths and limitations, there can be more capacity to offer support than if we are alone. In addition, the “supporter pod” structure is one that we want to encourage and grow. This is because:
We are discovering the benefits of it, both for supporter pods to grow capacity, and those they are supporting to increase collective capacity.
We are experimenting with this as an initial pod experience that can lead to people joining pre-existing pods, or starting their own pods.
The orientation of supporter pods to material needs is aligned with NGL’s overall orientation of supporting Vital Functions as the basis of all that we do and something that we want to cultivate reverence for as we re-integrate the mind-body split inherited from the enlightenment.
Supporter pods consist of a group of around 3 people working together. We will aim to match people where there are complementary strengths in the various areas of capacity assessment in order to create an overall holding.
If you are not drawn to coming as part of a supporter pod, it is likely that our low capacity to be available to you relationally will not create an environment that feeds you sufficiently to be able to orient to us consistently. For this reason, we ask you to only fill out the capacity assessment for coming as a supporter pod. If, however, you are certain that you would be able to orient to us without requiring relational attention in order to be able to stay present, and that you would be able to set up an external support group sufficient to hold you with things that may come up, you are welcome to fill in the capacity assesment form for individuals. Please note: there would of course be relational connection, it is more about us needing to put energy towards suporting someone who has come to support us. We are less likely to call on people coming as individuals, and it's a possibility if we are not able to form supporter pods.
There will be support to set up the supporter pod from Fox, Sabrina, and Yanae. You can read their report from their time as a supporter pod with the Eddy, Emma, and Miki Pod here and the first draft of their supporter pod VM here.
