Miki Kashtan is a practical visionary and the seed founder of the NGL community. She is dedicated to distributing leadership, power, and vision within all of NGL’s experiments, so her work can outlive her. One of her core offerings is the yearlong course "Responding to the Call of Our Times" which is offered in collaboration with the NVC Academy. She has published four books and dozens of articles and she blogs regularly on The Fearless Heart.

Noor Alexander has been studying actively with Miki for over 7 years. He is based in St. Petersburg, FL, USA. Vocationally, Noor practices psycho-spiritual with an international clientele, he offers spiritually-rooted therapy for Florida residents, and facilitates transformational workshops in person in St. Pete. Culturally, Noor is Afghan-American and the son of two Afghan immigrants to the U.S. Noor’s educational background includes a Master’s in Cultural & Social Anthropology from the University Cambridge in the UK, a Master’s in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), and a Bachelor’s in Religious Studies from Emory University in the U.S. In his orientation & work, Noor brings and weaves together the spiritual, the psychological, the cultural & systemic, and the intellectual dimensions with a heart-centered lens. He also practices NVC and co-founded Gainesville Nonviolent Communication (GNVC) in 2018 with two CNVC trainers.
