NGHS Sailing Team - Winners of the Interdominion Sailing Regatta and the NZSS Girls Team Sailing Championships

At Napier Girls' High School we have a long and proud tradition of excellence in sport. Our girls compete in a wide range of sports across the year and we are the current holders of many Hawke's Bay competition titles. In 2018 we had the honour of congratulating over 100 Napier Girls' High School athletes selected for Hawke's Bay regional teams, 19 selected for NZ representative teams, and 12 who have gone on to achieve at International events.

While our girls are the stars of their sporting universe, behind them we have a committed group of coaches, sports managers, staff and parents who work to ensure that every player has the opportunity to achieve to their potential. With long-term development being our aim, we offer a range of skill-based teams with various school exchanges and tournament opportunities for our premier teams to gain important exposure to national level competition.
