1. Would COVID-19 Precautions/Guidelines be followed?
The health and safety of our attendees and exhibitors is our top priority. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and Guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
It is strongly encouraged that participants stay up-to-date on their COVID-19 vaccinations to provide protection from severe illness. These precautions are being put in place to ensure that all who attend the Hackathon are able to safely enjoy.
2. Will masks be required?
Masks are optional for all individuals, although we encourage and support anyone who wishes to wear one or is at a higher health risk especially while indoors.
3. Will social distancing be required?
Social distancing is not currently required.
4. Who can attend the Hackathon?
We’ve received a lot of questions over the years on whether or not attending the Hackathon 2023 is appropriate for someone in a certain career field. In most cases, if you have an interest in or working on themes mentioned in a hackathon then the answer is yes, definitely!
Our audience is primarily Forensic Scientists, Analysts, researchers and students. What’s unique to the events is that we also host many of the decision-makers in the field, from Technical Leaders and Supervisors to Directors and Govt officials.
5. What are the exhibit hours?
Exhibit hours will run on 1st Feb-2nd Feb, 2023 from 10:00am – 6:00pm.
We have expanded our exhibitor listing to allow for enhanced profiles. Learn how vendors can benefit your lab by visiting their website and social media profiles, viewing videos, brochures, photos, and downloadable collateral, and meeting and chatting directly with their staff members.
6. What is included in the registration fee?

7. What payment types are accepted?
No payment fee required for hackathon for more detail please see registration tab.
8. Do I need to register in advance, or can I register on site?
Yes on-site registration is available, but we recommend registering in advance to streamline check-in when you arrive at the hackathon.
9. What is the dress-code?
Dress is business casual for all sessions, workshops, and dinner events.
10. What is the official language at Event?
The official language will be English.
11. Will I receive a certificate of participation?
Yes, you will be able to download certificates of participation.
12. Is any accommodation facility available?
No, University will not provide any accommodation facility. Participants have to arrange their own accommodation.
