Transhaven
Natalia, Sophia & Yubail’s project aimed to promote fair treatment for the transgender community of Pakistan. The group set out to advocate equal opportunity and equal treatment at work for this community, creating a job portal and an Instagram page, as well as influencing HR departments of numerous companies to hire transgenders.
Proposals were sent out to various companies through email requesting physical or and online meetings for the group to present their action plan. Presentations were given to the HR teams of Headstart School, Fauji Fertilizers, and Inbox Technologies. The group convinced the organizations to hold English language classes, IT workshops and styling & grooming sessions for the transgender community.
