Join Nexus International School (Singapore) to MAKE A BALD STATEMENT at Hair for Hope 2021!
Our classmate and friend, Joseph Loy, passed away from cancer recently. He was a huge part of our Nexus community and it would mean a lot to all of us if anybody wanted to get involved in raising childhood cancer awareness. Regardless of how you wanted to help - either as a shavee or just by donating. We're hoping that we'll be able to have more than 20 shavees and raise at least $13,000 for Children's Cancer Society to surpass our previous HFH event, which saw us raising $12,819.96".
Thank you,
Hugo, Taiga & Maya (Year 12)
In memory of our beloved friend, schoolmate, learner and son - Joseph Loy.

If you missed out on our live sing alongs this week do not worry there is still time to get involved!
All you have to do is grab your family, learn the song with the help of this website, video yourselves and submit here by Sunday 30th May.
Not in the mood for singing then perhaps a freestyle dance during the introduction or something choreographed to the following lines:
Reach for the Stars
Climb every mountain
Drive down that ocean road
Best friends there for each other
The skies the limit
There's a whole world at your feet
It’s that time of year again when we all start limbering up in preparation for our annual Climbathon to support the communities in Nepal. Our previous events have supported Chora Chori in their development of education for underprivileged children as well as the building of a refuge offering young people a brighter future. The success of these projects has led to the charity developing a new focus and also a new name ‘Pipal Tree’. You can hear more about this from Philip Holmes in this short video.
So, let’s start setting our climbing goals and gathering sponsorship support for the Climbathon which will take place in the last week of term. Our final community event of the year.
Get those climbing shoes ready and look out for more information to follow!
