In recognition of the recent world Cancer Day on 4th February, some of our IB CAS learners would like everyone to dress up to help raise awareness and funds to support the ongoing research into cancer treatments.
Keep it colourful!
Please look out for an email invitation to start booking appointments with your child's teachers.
Appointments will be available after school and in the evening on Thursday, 3 and during the day on Friday, 4 March.
Please note school will be closed on Friday, 4 March to enable teachers and families to meet online.
The learning conferences are your opportunity to discuss your child's learning and progress. Your child should lead the conversations and should be with you at each of the meetings. This is a great opportunity to support your child to identify targets to reach their goals.
We recently shared or Number Continuum which articulates the learning progression for our learners in Number.
To further explain and unpack this continuum we will be running a Parent Workshop framed as a Unit of Inquiry and starting with a conceptual understanding.
Conceptual Understanding:
A continuum creates a learning journey for our learners through an inquiry approach.
Lines of inquiry/guiding statements:

Bug Busting Day - Friday, 11 February
Most children and families experience head lice at some point, and we appreciate you letting your homeroom teacher know if you have found any on your child's head.
If we see a child itching or if they report to us that they have an itchy head, we will get the school nurse to check their hair. If live head lice are found, we will ask you to fetch your child to treat the lice.
Please ensure your child is free from head lice before they return.
Thank you.
