The usual buzz in our Primary School has not been diminished, despite the restrictions due to the Covid-19 precautions. For example, we had lots of little visitors in Nursery (tadpoles); Year 2 learners went on a 'trip' to one of our Black Boxes and the Year 4 Learning Hub was transformed into our very own Science Centre! Do take a look at the 'Recent Events' section to find out what outstanding learning has been going on across the school.
It has also been wonderful to see so many Primary School Sport Training sessions starting this week, including netball, athletics, cricket and football. Our Sport Halls, Field and Track facilities have been full with energetic and smiling children. Soon Season 3 CCAs will start. Please look through the choices and make your selections through CHQ.
Next Friday we have our first dress up day of 2020. Many of our children have families or friends that have recently been affected by the devastating bushfires in Australia. A group of passionate Year 6 learners wanted to take action to support the efforts to rescue and care for the wildlife impacted. They are inviting all learners to dress in gold, green or colours of the the Australian flag or to even dress as an animal native to the Australian bush. We ask that learners bring in a donation of $2 towards the relief efforts.
Enjoy your weekend!
