Our early years learners have been enjoying the new FUNdamentals room. The FUN room integrates sensory information, motor skills and language that create the foundation for children’s learning, understanding of themselves and their world.

Please ensure your child has a water bottle and appropriate footwear (trainers, no crocs or sandals) on PHE days.

All year groups have started the year with Adventure Challenge. In this unit the focus is on cooperation, communication and respect. Various challenges are set-up where learners work together to solve problems and overcome tricky situations, using their previous knowledge, conflict resolution, critical thinking and trial and error.

Our learners have been creating essential agreements and practicing water safety. Making sure they know the pool rules, regulations and the importance of warming up. Swimmers have been differentiated into groups to get the best personalised learning possible.
