Nexus will be celebrating Lunar New Year on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 February. Please note that school finishes at 12:00pm midday on Friday 9 February.
On Thursday 8 February, there will be a lion dance performance on campus. If the weather is good, we would like to invite parents and guardians to join us to watch the performance on the field from the level 2 walkway. If the weather is inclement, the performance will have to be in the sports hall and there will unfortunately not be space to accommodate parents.
All learners are invited to wear Lunar New Year celebration clothes (or any red and yellow clothes) on Thursday 8 February.
For more details, do check out the upcoming events page on our newsletter.
As a school, one of our goals is to continue to foster ongoing close relationships with families and organisations so that learners enjoy more adaptive and inspired learning opportunities. The Business & Economics department are fortunate to regularly receive fantastic offers of support and we are now in a position to organise these.
We are pleased to announce that we are putting together a Professional Skills Directory and, linked to this, an Enterprise & Innovation Advisory Board. We believe that this should help us to leverage parent/carers' expertise to enhance learners' career readiness, awareness of innovative practice, skills and business acumen.
We are committed to ensuring each of our learners is well-equipped for life beyond Nexus.
