About Me

My name is Lai Wa (pronounced Lie-Wah) Wong. I am a student at Union College (Class of 2017) majoring in Sociology with minors in Computer Science and Asian Studies. My five strengths are Empathy, Positivity, Harmony, Woo and Developer. Everyone has their own "why" and mine is to help others in anyway I can. Most of the time it is simply me listening to people because I recognize that what people say means something.

At Union: In the past four years at Union, I've worked very closely with the ITS department and learned how to navigate Learning Technology through testing our learning management system, creating reusable learning objects, giving tutorials in classrooms and much more. I have been involved with the Asian Student Union Club on campus and became the president of the club in the past two years.

After Union: In the future, I hope to find a career where I interact with people and help others in one way or another. It may involve technology, or case managing.
