In term 2, Room 2 has been learning about plants.
How do they grow? How can we look after them? Why do we need plants around us?
Butterflies are important pollinators. But "what does it mean?", you might ask.
It means that butterflies can carry pollen from plant to plant. This is what we call pollination. Some plants need pollination so that they can produce seeds, which can then grow into new plants. π±
It's pretty cool, isn't it? I wonder if our garden at school will attract many butterflies... What do you think?
