Woodberry Down PGL Trip 2024  Monday 4th March

Wednesday 6th March 2024

The skies are blue over Osmington Bay this morning as the children take part in archery, Jacob's ladder and sensory trail.  The children are loving the activities and the experience of being away from home and from school for the week.

The teachers have reported that all of the children have been brilliantly behaved and are showing an excellent example for us all.  We are very proud of them.  They are being polite and kind to the children at the centre who have arrived from other schools.  They are working well together to complete tasks and to support one another at meal times and with keeping their rooms tidy, ready for inspection!

Miss Richards especially loves the foot massager in the staffroom!

Tuesday 5th March 2024

It has been a soggy day day in Dorset as the children took part in their first day of activities.

At the start of the day, the children had their rooms checked by the centre staff to make sure that they were keeping everything clean and tidy!

Then they ventured out where the children have participated in activities including Jacob's ladder, orienteering, survivor and zip wire.

Now they are having their dinner and getting ready for their evening activities before bedtime.  What a day!

Monday 4th March 2024

The children arrived at PGL, Osmington Bay shortly after 3.30pm on Monday 4th March.  Although the journey was long, they kept themselves entertained by singing songs and playing games.

As soon as the group had arrived, they were asked to unload the bus and take their belongings to their accomodation where they unpacked and put their clothes into their wardrobes and drawers.  They will need to keep their rooms tidy all week.

Dinner this evening was tasty!  The children were able to choose their own food and, as you'd expect, pasta was a popular choice.

After dinner, the group played games in the MUGA in the dark before an early night after the long journey.
