Grazebrook Primary School PGL 2026
23rd - 27th March
23rd - 27th March
A huge thank you to our families for ensuring all the children were at school on time with everything they needed for their adventure this week! The children arrived at PGL just before midday yesterday. They had a picnic lunch in the sunshine before dropping their bags into their rooms. As soon as they had finished eating, they were straight out meeting their group leaders and tackling their first challenges which included abseiling and fencing. After dinner, the children attended a sing-along around the campfire and were able to toast (and eat!) marshmallows.
The children started the day full of energy and excitement. After a very big breakfast, the four groups had an action packed morning including the thrill of the zip wire, archery and fencing! After their busy morning, everyone tucked into a hearty lunch before heading off to try disc golf - a surprising favourite! And the highly anticipated giant swing. After dinner, there was more fun with team games. The children were very ready for bed at the end of day and slept well.
The children enjoyed their activities today through the rain, sun and hail. The sensory trail was a fun but muddy start to the day, followed by the trapeze. After lunch we enjoyed learning how to survive in the wild in ‘survival’ before finishing off with the ultimate vertical challenge!
We are looking forward to another full day of challenges tomorrow and the disco!
