Grazebrook Primary School PGL 2025
2nd - 4th April
2nd - 4th April
A huge thank you to our families for ensuring all the children were at school on time with everything they needed for their adventure this week! The children arrived at PGL just before midday yesterday. They had a picnic lunch in the sunshine before dropping their bags into their rooms. As soon as they had finished eating, they were straight out meeting their group leaders and tackling their first challenges!
Message from Mrs Cabey, Ms McLaughlin, Coach Hassan and Ms Azevedo:
Our children are so excited and have settled in well. They took part in various activities including: Giant Swing, Problem Solving, Archery and Crate Challenge. It was amazing to see how they collaborated with each other in order to achieve their goals.
Some took a leap of faith on the Giant Swing and they have no regrets. It was truly a euphoric experience for our children.
Tomorrow, they are looking forward to participating in Jacob’s Ladder, Survivor and the Disco. Rest assured that they are settling in to PGL life and they send their love to you.
The children had a fantastic second day, tackling more challenges together and learning lots of new skills. The day ended with a trip to the shop (to stock up on sweets!) before lots of fun at the disco.
The children had a hearty breakfast this morning, before setting out for their final day of fun and activities. The coach is due to collect them from Liddington at 4.30pm with an expected arrival time back at Grazebrook of 7.30pm. If anything changes, we will message families before 6pm. Please come to the Lordship Road gate to collect your child/children this evening. We can't wait to see them all and hear all about it!
A HUGE thank you to Mrs Cabey, Ms McLaughlin, Ms Azevedo and Coach Hassan (as well as Ms Dickinson, Ms Corbett and Ms Bunbury behind the scenes) for making it all possible this year.
