Resources
These resources anchor the classroom level instructional practices of a content-area reading apprenticeship and also help build a school culture that promotes multilingualism. Make some for all your teachers and students!
Cheatsheets
These are double-sided half sheets ready to print out on a regular printer. Print out these materials for yourself and your class! Having physical copies of the cheat sheets available for yourself and the students supports the apprenticeship process.
Make a copy of this template to have the visuals you need to teach cognitive strategies.
The Reading Assessment is designed to measure two things. It directly measures change over time in your multilingual learners’ reading process and identity, and indirectly measures the effectiveness of your metacognitive literacy instruction.
