The Mission of the NUHS Media Department

It is the mission of the NUHS Media Department to meet the information needs of the NUHS students and teachers.

It is the mission of the NUHS Media Department to help students become better readers and writers by providing them with accessible physical and online resources. The Collection development Policy can be found here.

About the Collection

The print collection contains over 6,000 titles.

Students may check out as many books as they want at a time. All books are due after 14 days of the check out date. All books can be renewed up to three times before needing to return them. Renewals and Check out/ In of resources can be done at the Media Center. 

The Electronic Library for Minnesota (ELM), online databases of books, magazines, journals, and newspapers funded by the state legislature for all academic, public and school libraries in Minnesota.

Donations

Due to budgeting the NUHS media center is always looking for donations of new titles. If you are interested in donating resources to the NUHS Media Center, please call 233-6452. All donated materials are subject to review.
