What is One School, One Read?

Head O'Meadow School is very excited to once again be participating in One School, One Read this year!  One School, One Read builds school community by engaging students and their families in reading the same book at the same time.  Each student will be given a copy of the book to keep at home.

Each day, students will hear a portion of the book read-aloud at school.   They will be engaged in conversation with common vocabulary and daily trivia.  We encourage families to reread the same selected pages at home in the evening and to use the Discussion Questions linked above to continue the conversation.  The Reading Calendar is also linked at the top of this page.  For busy nights, we have linked staff reading chapters on the Read-Aloud tab above.
