NJ Science League website:
Science League is made up of a consortium of about 165 high schools, which participate in four science competitions, from January to April, each year. Teams from Newton High School compete in Physics, Chemistry 1 and 2, Biology 1 and 2, and Earth Science. Scores are ranked both county and state-wide. Awards go to both high scoring teams and individuals in each discipline. Continuing in its tradition of excellence, our team has often placed first in the county in March and April.
