Fun Fact; How does Cellulose connect to paper? Tracing paper is made of wood-free cellulose that has been pulped repeatedly to the point where the fibres are made so short and so compressed the internal reflection of light is removed, allowing it to appear clear.
My mother has been an artist of many kinds. With every type of art, one thing that she had always worked with was tracing paper. Painting had started with tracing paper. Architecture started with tracing paper. Theatrical performances and drawings had started with tracing paper! Even a small and singular thing, like cellulose, has been a part of my Mothers life experiences for quite some time. Its amazing to think how much of one chemical is connected to a whole life story.
