Hello, Underwood community!
My name is Greta Phillips and I am the ELL teacher at Underwood. ELL stands for English Language Learning. I work with students who are at all different stages of learning to read, write, speak, and understand English. I am teaching Underwood students in both the hybrid and distance learning models.
Did you know that Underwood families speak English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, Urdu, Hindi, Hebrew, Russian, Albanian, Vietnamese...and more?!
We love celebrating all of the languages and cultures that contribute to our community!
Best,
Greta Phillips, Teacher of English Language Learners
