2021 Summer Volunteer Project at Newton-Wellesley Hospital:
To thank the healthcare workers for their tireless work during the Covid-19 pandemic, I fashioned a figurine out of polymer clay depicting the healthcare workers as a pandemic superhero, emerging from chaos, tattered but triumphant. It was later donated and displayed at the volunteer office.
My "thank you" cards were based on this figure.
"Boston strength 1" (acrylic on canvas):
In honor of Patriot's Day and the remembrance of the strength of the city after the Marathon Day bombing, this painting was published in the Newton Tab on April 21, 2021.
"Not so Scary Math" (acrylic on canvas):
This was the winning painting in my Russian School of Math's Halloween art contest. The winning proceeds were donated to the Prison Book Program to buy books on the prisoner's wish list.
