Meet Your Teacher

Hi!  I’m Mr. O’Rourke.  This school year is my tweny-first year at Zervas! I live in West Roxbury, which is part of Boston and not too far from Zervas. My wife, Ms. McNally, teaches history at Newton South High School. My twenty-three-year-old son Finn graduated from Bard College in New York in 2024 and is currently living in New York City. My twenty-year-old daughter Niamh is a third year student at Oberlin College in Ohio. We also have a big, friendly dog named Hugo. I grew up in Falmouth, Massachusetts, which is on Cape Cod, and I went to college at New York University in New York City. I also went to graduate school at the University of Massachusetts Boston. When I’m not busy teaching, I love to read, run, play golf, ski, and play the guitar.
