Newton South Unified Cheerleading

Unified Cheer is a fully inclusive sports program that unites athletes with and without intellectual disabilities as teammates for training and cheering at games.  Currently, there are more than 7,000 cheerleaders participating in Unified Cheer programs in nine different states. 

At Newton South, Unified Cheerleaders participate in team practices three times a week and cheer once a week for the Home Varsity Basketball team!
