Newsela Website Newsela is a library of high-interest, cross-curricular, adjustable nonfiction texts with great assessment features. Newsela's range of reading levels invites targeted intervention and differentiation. You can assign articles to individuals as well as small groups, using the quizzes to track progress and make further suggestions.
Integrating Newsela with Google Classroom - walks you through the process of syncing your Google Classrom roster with your Newsela class. NOTE: some staff have experienced trouble syncing with Google Classroom when they have logged into Newsela via Clever. Instead, logging in to Newsela with Google might be necessary to complete the sync.
