Practice Information

FAQs:

When do we meet?: We meet on Tuesday afternoons right after school ends from 2:30-3:50. Sutdents will be able to take the late bus home. Students may also attend online tournaments to challenge the skills they have developed that will take place on Saturdays, and take up most of the day.
Where do we meet?: We will be meeting at Oak Hill this year, in the Library.

What if my child goes to Brown?: The program is open to both schools, but Oak Hill is dismissed earlier so the program will be located here. After Brown students are dismissed, we will have an instructor waiting at a meeting point at Brown to walk the students over. 

What if my child can't attend practice?: Whether it's seasonal or once a month, debate is an amazing opportunity for Middle Schoolers. Our curriculum has been developed over the years the program has run to a point that it is very adaptable, and if students have to join late or miss practice we can easily catch them up! 

When is the first practice?: Our first practice will be held on September 24, 2024! Can't wait to see you there! :)
