Transcribe Kenny Dorham's solo on Blue Bossa. Pay particular attention to how he uses the melody as basis for the first two choruses. Use the slow down feature on YouTube when you run into trouble in the third and fourth chorus. Work on going beyond just notes and rhythms in your solo and imitating the phrasing, articulation, and other nuances.
