I became a speech language pathologist (SLP) because I love helping people and especially love working with kids! I went to Georgetown University for college and the University of Maryland in College Park for graduate school. I worked in several different settings as an SLP before joining Newton Public Schools, including hospital clinics, a private practice, and private special education schools.
I live in Waltham and I have two sisters that live nearby. I also have three nieces - two of them are twins and were just born in the spring! My parents live on Cape Cod so it's very fun visiting them, especially in the summer.
When I'm not at school, I love cooking and baking, doing yoga or spin classes, reading, learning, and spending time with my friends and family.
I'm looking forward to a great school year!
