Meet The Teacher
Meet the Teacher
This will be my tenth year teaching at Franklin Elementary! I have also taught First Grade in Salem, Massachusetts. I've lived in three states: Virginia, New York, and Massachusetts. Most of my growing up took place in the North Shore surrounded by beautiful beaches, and there is nothing better to me than sitting at the beach with a good book! I now live in Waltham with my husband Matt.
I earned my Bachelors degree in Spanish and minors in both Education and Psychology from the Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I then received a Masters in Elementary Education (Grades 1-6) from Smith College. Along with Elementary Education, I am also licensed to teach Early Childhood Education with/without Disabilities (PreK-2), English as a Second Language, and I'm a certified Responsive Classroom teacher.
