Meet Mrs. Fucarile

Hi my name is Mrs. Fucarile.

This will be my eighth year at the Underwood School. I started in 2010 as a kindergarten teacher and continued on the following year to help build the K1 model at the Underwood School. I came to Underwood with an extensive background in teaching, education, and child development. I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees at Simmons College. On top of teaching, I am also the head women’s basketball coach at Framingham High School. Teaching and basketball have been my passion for most of my life.

My Favorite Things:

• Favorite sport: Basketball has been my love since I picked up a ball in first grade. I was a point guard and played through high school and college.
• Favorite thing to do outside: I love hiking. My wife and I just completed the NH 4,000 foot mountains.
• Favorite color: Blue
• Favorite food: I am Italian and grew up with my mother's amazing cooking. I would have to say her Sunday Sauce is something that will always be my favorite.
• Favorite thing about teaching: Watching young learners explore and navigate this world. They are little sponges that are learning daily and you can see their confidence and knowledge grow while they build wonderful friendships.

My Family:
