About Ms. Rookard

Hi, I am Jaleisa Rookard but the students call me Ms. R.  Here is a little about me...

In my free time, I enjoy being active. One way I stay active is by playing softball.  I have played softball since elementary school and still play in recreational leagues.  I am an assistant softball coach at Newton North High School and a head softball coach for Newton Panthers. In the fall I play in a flag football league. 

Along with playing sports, I enjoy spending time with my family!  I am 1 of 4 kids and the second oldest.  My older brother Nate is in law enforcement, my sister Jasmine is in the education field and my younger brother Javion is in finance. I have a beautiful niece Siren who is 3 years old and I enjoy spending as much time as I can with her.
