About Ms. Rookard

Hi, I am Jaleisa Rookard, but the students call me Ms. R. Here's a little about me...

In my free time, I enjoy being active. One way I stay active is by playing softball.  I have played softball since elementary school and still play in recreational leagues.  I am the junior varsity softball head coach at Newton North High School. In the fall, I play flag football. 

Along with playing sports, I enjoy spending time with my family!  I am 1 of 4 kids and the second oldest.  My older brother Nate is in law enforcement, my sister Jasmine is in the education field, and my younger brother Javion is in finance. I have a beautiful niece, Siren, who is 6 years old, and I enjoy spending as much time as I can with her.
