I have been teaching at Ward since 2002. I love being part of all of the changes that happen in first grade. Everyone grows so much as learners and friends throughout the school year.
Before coming to Newton, I studied Biology, with a minor in Education, at Swarthmore College. I later got my master's degree in Reading and Literacy from Boston College. It was while studying at BC that I found my home at Ward.
When I am not at school I can usually be found drawing, reading, or playing with my children and husband. This school year my daughter Abby is in kindergarten, and my son Noah is in fifth grade.
