About the Teacher

Hello! My name is Mrs. Byom and this will be my eighth year in New Richmond School District, fifth year as the Middle School Band Director. I graduated in 2018 from Luther College. I was involved in music ensembles playing the Saxophone and had the opportunity to travel internationally with the Luther College Concert Band to Spain.

When I am not in the music classroom, I love to go outside and hike with my dog, Cleo, and my husband who many of you know as Mr. M. This summer we were able to travel to England to hike and explore a couple national parks and mountains! I also enjoy attending various music performances in the area and musicals. You can also find me cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers throughout the year!

I am looking forward to all the music and memories we will create together this year!
