SHORT BIO

I grew up in a Navy family and have lived all over the U.S. I graduated with a BA in Anthropology from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and then earned an MA in Anthropology from the University of Montana. I received my teaching certification in history from Black Hills State University in South Dakota. I met my wife in Rapid City, SD and we moved back to her home state of Wisconsin to raise our two boys. I've been teaching in New Richmond since 2003. While Wisconsin is our home base, we love to travel. I've been to every state except Alaska and Hawaii. I've been to Canada and Mexico, and now I've traveled overseas 4 times, seeing Ireland, Scotland, France, Greece, and Italy. Besides my classes, I'm also advisor to the Multicultural Club and a chaperone for the International Club.
