A club based on making up funny ideas on the spot! Students will learn a variety of improv games and skills to think quickly on their feet and create funny scenes together.

We will meet every other Thursday, starting 10/2 through the winter. After school until 3:45

Play chess or checkers. Improve your skills and have fun. All levels are welcome- novice to advanced. Permission forms in the MS office, return to Mrs. Schulze by 9/18.

We capture the memories by taking pictures and designing our yearbook online to highlight all the great things and people at NRMS. Apply to join-applications available in September.

Enjoy crafting? Want to make some holiday decor? Join craft club! We will meet once per month to make a seasonal craft together. Meetings are held in the art room one Wednesday a month after school until 3:40. Dates TBD

Read 20 books off an assigned list, by yourself or with friends, then compete against the teachers by answering questions about the books.

Friendship Bracelet Club will be a club where we create fun and colorful bead bracelets. We will meet on Thursday's afterschool until 3:40

Do you like to do diamond art creations? If so, NRMS Diamond Art Club is perfect for you! We will create a masterpiece using vibrant colored rhinestones to a self-adhesive canvas with a diamond art kit.

Whether you’re a seasoned plant lover or just curious about growing something for the first time, Greenhouse Club is the place for you! No experience is needed—just bring your curiosity. Students can explore everything from flowers to vegetables, experimenting with different ways to grow the healthiest, most creative plants possible. Along the way, you’ll have plenty of chances to take home your own plants or share them as gifts.

A math competition club focused on fact drill speed solving and multiple types of word problems. Challenge yourself with Math Masters, we compete at least 3 times.

This group is about gaining knowledge and skills in agricultural sciences including plants, animals, food, natural resources, wildlife and MORE!

This group is welcome to all students of any identity. It is a safe, welcoming place for students to connect with one another, do creative activities and work towards an accepting environment for all people.

New Richmond Middle School’s Tiger Power program gives students the opportunity to challenge themselves through weightlifting, speed drills, and agility training. A team-based science competition. Events include hands-on building challenges, problem-solving, and science knowledge tests in topics like earth science, biology, chemistry, and physics. It’s a chance to learn new skills, work with friends, and compete against other schools!

A math competition club designed to promote problem solving skills through puzzles, team building, and practices. It's a great way to work together to have fun with math!

Dancers are not expected or required to have prior knowledge or experience - all are welcome! All NRMS Dance Team Club members will be exposed to a variety of different skills and dance techniques throughout the season! We aim to showcase the diverse talents of our dancers while bringing joy and entertainment to our school community. Our coaches are dedicated to preparing dancers for the next level of high school dance team by focusing on dance team technique, performance skills, and game day material, ensuring that they are well-equipped for success on and off the dance floor.

Crochet club is a place where students will learn the basics of crochet and get to know others who have this same interest.

IMSU is open to all students (6-8) interested in expressing themselves and their ideas through writing. We will meet during lunch and or Homeroom/Flex Time. The club is a safe space where students can use their imagination to create works of poetry, short stories, songs, memoirs, and there is even a novel writing challenge in November if you wish to participate! More info to come.

Students test their geography skills during a schoolwide competition. Judged by Mr. Brandt, Mr. Stowers and Mr. Hatch.

Provides opportunities for students to dive deeper into Spanish and Latino culture.

Winter & Spring

Winter sports enthusiasts board busses to Trollhaugen where they ski and snowboard into the evening. It is a great way to stay wild in Wisconsin all winter. $115 student pass + $75 transportation fee (and rental fee if needed.)

Provides opportunities for public speaking and performance in a category of your choice. Pieces can be read or memorized. Work alone or with a group of friends.

Meet w/ Mrs. Stowers 1/week for a scheduled practice. 3 Competitions after school end of January-early March. Sign up before winter break. Practice begins in January.

Jazz Band will meet before school or after school and explores the realm of jazz music which is completely different than normal concert band. We will participate in Solo and Ensemble Festival and perform at our Spring Band Concert. Come swing with us!

We will sort out the schedule based on member's schedules, but likely twice a week.
Advisor: Mrs. Byom
Drama Club is open to all students who are interested in acting, set design, costume work, or stage management. Cast members will focus on learning lines, blocking, and character development, while the crew will assist with creating sets, props, and costumes.

March Mammal Madness
Learn about some interesting animals and you make your picks for the March Mammal Madness Bracket.

The NRMS Summer Marching Band welcomes all students currently enrolled in 6th or 7th Grade Band who are planning to continue playing in the band into next school year. We participate in 4 parades and end the summer with a mini-parade and reward trip to ValleyFair. We hope you will consider joining us on this exciting new experience with music!
