We've created these resources to encourage engagement at home for our pupils and their families, aiming to increase interest in practical STREAM activities, develop conversation around STEM subjects and inspire curious and investigative minds! Our STREAM activities can be completed by all members of the family, with children taking the lead, using resources found in the home.

EXCITING UPDATE!

As you may know, Newport Primary School has been compiling and sharing STEAM Holiday Projects for each school holiday since October 2020, as a means of instigating STEM conversations at home to improve children’s Science Capital.

Now, with access to funding from the Primary Science Teaching Trust, we have the exciting opportunity to update our STREAM format to develop more science activities, designed by our staff, tested by our pupils, with our own images!
