Dayna Herndon

Dayna Herndon joined New Place LLC in 2019, offering Real Estate solutions for entrepreneurs and investors interested in land, commercial, multi-family, residential property for development, purchase, lease, 2nd homes, and family transitions to Texas due to relocations. NewPlace hopes to fill the gap between solely Commerical and Residential real estate firms by bringing a holistic perspective based on client needs. NewPlace will begin adding agents interested in joining our team in April 2020.

Dayna began her real estate career with Clark Gaines Properties, a commercial real estate firm. Prior, Mrs. Herndon launched 252Talent in 2016, an executive search firm where she specialized in the full range of executive search, staffing, and advising services for 100K+ positions.

Prior to opening 252Talent, Mrs. Herndon completed a Bachelors of Communications from the University of Phoenix, enlarged her family while working part-time with Lake Labs, a digital marketing agency she co-founded with her husband, Paul in 2010. Customers included non-profits, start-ups and small businesses. Her experience creating digital marketing strategies, offer a unique perspective to better market properties for new and existing clientele in the commercial real estate industry.

At 23 years old, Mrs. Herndon founded Chess Executive search for 7 years. Here, she placed almost exclusively attorneys for law firms in Texas. This career laid the foundation for successful entrepreneurship, business development and retention, the importance of work-life balance, and a drive to succeed as a young, female entrepreneur and mother.

As an entrepreneur, Mrs. Herndon understands business. She seeks first the interests of the owner, whether for hiring staff or acquiring real estate. Mrs. Herndon still enjoys giving career advice, job referrals, and career assistance to friends and family.

Mrs. Herndon and her husband have five children, ranging in age from 24 to 8. She attends church at Nineteen:Ten, and serves on the Board of Advisors for Entrusted Houston, a non-profit providing assistance to adoptive and foster care parents and children. Mrs. Herndon enjoys spending time with her large family, serving in the Kids Ministry, traveling, reading, coaching, the outdoors (when it’s under 80 degrees) and Kauai, in general.
