Ms. Pountain's Online Art Show 2020

While the 2020 school year did not end as we had all planned, NPHS art students continued to work hard and produce beautiful art. Traditionally the end of school is marked by our huge high school art show and students are showered with the praise and appreciation that they deserve. I wanted to make sure my students still had the opportunity to show the community all their hard work and dedication. I have attempted to show as much work as I could. Most students are represented, if you didn't get work to me in time for publish (or I didn't have anything on hand to use), it's not too late! Send me a quality .jpeg of your work, title it “your full name - title of assignment” (example: Laurene Pountain - Painting Beyond the Portrait) and I will add it to the show.

To my students...

I am proud to be your teacher and so amazed by your resiliance and hard work during this crazy time. Art is a place for you to be creative and express your beliefs. As we learned these last few months, it is also a place to calm the mind and work through thoughts. Keep making and sharing. I am always here if you need to talk or share. Enjoy your summer and I hope to see many of you in the fall...
