Dear Parents and/or Guardian;
Your child is a senior this year and will need to submit several photos for their senior yearbook.
We are working with Upstate Images and are asking each senior person to be photographed by Upstate Images. Senior portraits will be taken at the New Paltz Studio 3 Cherry Nd, New Paltz NY 12561. Scheduling a portrait session with Upstate Images is essential to ensure your child's inclusion in the yearbook. To book a portrait session, scan the QR code or visit the Upstate Images website: https://www.upstate-imaqes.com/seniors. Select the Hudson Valley Region then click on the New Paltz Studio tab when booking your appointment.
Yearbook Portrait Requirements:
Sitting Options and Fees: (Sitting fees are prepaid online when the session is booked.)
Students are required to select a traditional vertical pose with our blue moonlight background.
The studio will have a drape & jacket/tie available at the camera.
Platinum: $40 sitting fee includes 25-30 images (traditional yearbook attire, cap and gown, three casual outfits, multiple backgrounds)
Gold: $30 sitting fee includes up to 20 images (traditional yearbook attire, cap and gown, two casual outfits, multiple backgrounds)
Silver: $15 sitting fee includes up to 15 images (traditional yearbook attire, cap and gown, one casual outfit, multiple backgrounds)
Yearbook Only: Free session for those who need it. This includes four images in yearbook attire only. Call 1-855-773-3321 to book this session.
If you choose to submit a senior portrait from another photographer to replace the Lifetouch photo for the yearbook, you may still do this. You will need to arrange everything with your photographer of choice and be certain that they submit your child's chosen pose for the yearbook to the emails below. The photographer must send a letter with the image, which is a release form, allowing the school to use the image.
Important Yearbook Dates to Remember:
December 18 – all baby photos, remember when photos, sibling photos and senior quotes are due to the yearbook
These photos should emailed to hsyearbook@newpaltz.k12.ny.us. If help is needed with scanning the photos please email us.
December 18 – all senior portraits are due to the yearbook
Due to the yearbook club no later than Dec. 18. Upstate images are automatic. You must get any other photographer to send the image to hsyearbook@newpaltz.k12.ny.us.
Purchasing a Yearbook - Cost is $65.00.
To purchase your child’s yearbook click on the link on the New Paltz High School web page or go to Order your Yearbook HERE! I would like to encourage you to do this early so we have an idea of how many yearbooks to order.
Early in the year, you may request a personalized copy which is embossed in the cover. Later in the school year this will not be an option. Please order soon.
