Battle of the Books is essentially a jeopardy-style competition taking place in the Gardiner Library. Two teams will play against each other and answer book-related questions. The team you would play on, the Gardiner team, goes against teams from up to 25 other libraries nearby. You can earn prizes and get community service hours. You have to read specific books for this, look below for this year's titles.

The Battle of the Books takes place at the Gardener Library every second Sunday from April-June. Weekly over the summer. Note that this is NOT hosted by the New Paltz Central School District.
