The Madrigal Troupe is a group of students that audition to sing without accompaniment. This group sings songs from the medieval ages, when singers just like New London's roamed from castle to castle performing for the lords and ladies in exchange for a bed and food at their castles. This year New London put on their 5th Annual Madrigal Feast, which was a two night dinner on the 6th and 7th of December.
Concert Choir is comprised of 9th and 10th grade musicians and Chamber Choir is comprised of 11th and 12th grade musicians. Choir allows students to sing a variety of choral selections and helps develop vocal technique. The Choir preforms at multiple concerts though the year as well as solo and ensemble and other community venues.
Show Choir is intended to develop vocal techniques and the ability to sing parts within an ensemble. Emphasis is placed on advanced levels of vocal technique along with precision movement within the choral group. Vision is made up of over 90 students including singer/dancers, show band and crew. Vision preforms at multiple concerts throughout the year, community venues and compete at many competitions in the Midwest. This year Vision is competing at Tomah, Sauk Prairie, De Pere, Monona Grove, and Janesville.
