Winter is my favorite season. There are some who don’t agree.

When it snows, that’s when I’m happy. It’s as simple as can be.

In the cold, in the snow is where I want to be, so let there be no doubt!

Take a cue from the polar bears who know how to have fun!

Winter sky, blowing the snow around me.

Falling down, far as the eye can see.

Evergreens, bearing the weight of snowfall.

Beauty breaks, here on this winter walk.

Lovely white covers the rolling landscape.

Winter frost covers each pane of glass.

I can hear laughter as children play and

I feel joy, here on this winter walk.

Sunlight sparkling on each flake of snow.

Bright the day becomes though it was grey.

Feel the wonder of the world around us.

The nip at my cheek reminds me of what is to come.

And I look instead to the days ahead.

And I brace myself for the Winter.

Nature, it seems, knows when December is here.

Birds have flown south, leaving me for the Winter.

The next thing you know blankets of snow will appear.
