These additional lessons and challenges are each designed to teach you through examples and hands-on creation all of the different capabilities of Scratch. As you go through these lessons take mental notes on each new thing you learn. Soon you will begin thinking of what you can create using Scratch, and these lessons/challenges will give you the tools you need to accomplish your own creative goals!
Here is what you need to do.
1. Click on the first Topic: Introduction Materials
2. Review the gif images that explain the very basics of Scratch Programming
3. Open up Scratch
4. Play around with the different features explained in the Introduction Materials
5. When you are ready, click on the next topic: Lessons 1-5 and begin programming
6. Please allow Mr. Hawkins to check your work after you complete each assignment
7. Always save your work because future lessons/challenges may ask you to re-create something from a previous lesson/challenge
Fill your basket of knowledge with all these lessons/challenges, and the more advanced you get, the more ideas and tools you will have to begin creating awesome Scratch projects on your own.
