Hello and thank you for considering Boek's Tree & Crane. I have been working with trees from a young age. As a boy, helping my grandfather and father work in the woods, falling trees and splitting firewood. After graduating high school, I worked in the construction field and enjoyed it, but deep inside, the trees we're calling! In 2000 I was accepted to Paul Smiths College, enrolling in the forestry program. Upon graduating I started climbing and cutting trees but ended up entering the NYS Police academy and becoming a state trooper.  While working the road, I did tree removal on the side and started my business officially in 2006. After 10 years, I followed my true passion and went full time into tree removal. Since then, I have made it a point to train and learn the safest practices in this very hazardous industry. In the winter months, I am often traveling the East coast obtaining continuing education credits, to keep up on certifications. I have invested in my company, allowing us to own highly specialized equipment that sets us apart from the competition. This equipment makes our job much safer and extremely efficient.
