We have some very exciting news to share! In July some of our very talented pupils entered and won places in an illustrating competition. The prize was to have their work published in a new story by the fantastic author Rachael Wong.
The story follows the adventures of 'Parmo the dog', it is set in Middlesbrough and includes the unlikeliest of heroes.
We are lucky enough to have a copy to share in school and the lucky winners (past and present pupils) have been gifted a signed copy. The book also includes a foreword by the wonderful author Adele Parks who visited Newham Bridge last year and was super impressed with our children and their love of reading. You may even spot a couple of familiar faces with Adele in the front of the book....
Copies of the book are now available to purchase via Drake's Bookstore in Stockton.
Our Y6 children have taken part in a Remembrance Service sharing some of their poetry, dairy entries and letters.
School observed a 2 minute silence on Wednesday 11th November at 11am.
Today, lots of children came to school wearing odd socks to raise the profile of anti-bullying week.
Lots of discussions have taken place in classes celebrating how we are all unique, different and so very special.
Children in Need
Thank you to all those families who made a donation to Children In Need for our school non-uniform day.

Mrs Prest and Mrs Reevell got into the 'Pudsey' spirit today and delighted the children in EYFS with their fun outfits.
