Guidance and Counseling

New Frontiers Public Schools prides itself in recognizing the whole student and understands that doing so goes far beyond academics. Beginning this school year, all students will be receiving interventions on social emotional well-being using the resources of Casel, Aperture and Avid. Individual and group counseling services will be offered to those scholars in need of additional support. In addition, we are thrilled to have to the opportunity to provide mental health services for our staff and parents. The Madla Hope Center is a place for families to find solutions to their problems and strengthen the family unit. The Madla Hope Center will offer seminars and workshops as well as opportunities for individualized counseling sessions for adults and families. Counseling sessions will be made available after school hours on the first and last Wednesday of every month at 4, 5 and 6 p.m. Educational family workshops will be hosted on the second Wednesday of most months. The Madla Hope Center is located Frank L. Madla Early College High School at 1400 W. Villaret. MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES FOR FAMILIES

MADLA HOPE CENTER-SOLUTION STATION: WEEKLY AT 4:00, 5:00 AND 6:00

Unlike traditional forms of therapy that take time to analyze problems, pathology and past life events, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) concentrates on finding solutions in the present time and exploring one's hope for the future to find quicker resolution of one's problems. Bring your problem to Madla Hope Center and schedule a time to visit Licensed Professional Counselor, Ms. Norma Arshad.
