The Problem of the Week is meant to give students the opportunity to practice their skills in claims 2, 3, and 4 of the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium's Summative Math Assessment. These correlate with the Mathematical Practices of the Common Core State Standards in Mathematics. These problems were adapted from the Illustrative Mathematics Performance Tasks.
